Bubble Daisy Border Die Card

Once again my Friend, Melissa Rodgers, owner of Remember This Remember That (Scrapbooking and Card Making store in Gardner, Kansas) has inspired me to make this card.  Melissa created a card using this adorable die and I emailed her and told her that I needed it for the ladies in my Tuesday and Saturday classes.  It is even more special in person!!

Supplies:
Bubble Daisy Border Die - Poppystamps, Inc.
The sentiment is from the Everyday Sentiments -
from Two Paper Divas (See their online store)

The Embossed white card stock is the 1442 flourish impressions from Doodlebug Design, Inc. (2007)
Black and Yellow card stocks from Stampin' Up
Two punches were used to complete this card:  One from McGill and the other from EK Success
The paper used with the McGill punch was purchased from Ellen Hutson (Hero Arts) - I love this paper because it is white on the opposite side of the colored card stock and it works great when using this McGill punch.  I can use either side of the punch to create what I want for the card
The other items used:  Yellow button,  black and white gingham check ribbon and Scrapper's Floss.

My "hint" about attaching any open die is to use Glue n' Seal from Ranger.  I typically use the matte finish.  When you purchase this product, purchase the small bottle (1 oz.) because it has the brush applicator and additionally purchase the 4 oz. bottle to refill the small one.  Just lay the wrong side up of the paper from cut die on wax paper and brush on the glue.  Then apply to your card.   Works beautifully!!!

Be sure to check out the website for Two Paper Divas to continually watch The Design Team creations and to also purchase the items from their online store.  When in Kansas City, Kansas be sure to go to Gardner, Kansas and say hi to my friend, Melissa, and her staff at Remember This Remember That.

Happy 2013

I am excited for this year, 2013, and am looking forward to more creativity to post on my BLOG.  I was so busy getting ready for Christmas and finishing our 175 + Christmas Cards which did not leave me with time to post on my BLOG!!

This card (another Two Paper Divas Design Team Card) was created using the jar clear stamp and the verse from Two Paper Divas.  I purchased the collection of candy hearts stamp a number of years ago from Impress Rubber Stamps online store out of Washington State.  The issue with the stamp is I have to "cut" each heart out to use them in a concept like this.  I still love my Martha Stewart fancy grass scissors.  They make their appearance on my "creating desk" for Valentine and Easter.  The only difference this time I took regular sharp scissors and cut each blade in half as well.

Do not forget to check out the website for Two Paper Divas and all the creativity going on over there!!
