TWO PAPER DIVAS DESIGN TEAM CARD - Garden Joy - Spotlight Stamping

This card is actually my latest DESIGN TEAM CARD CREATION for TWO PAPER DIVAS.  This stamp set consists of the Garden Equipment only.  The Sentiment is from the "Happy Mother's Day" set which was released earlier in the year.  With spring planting so totally on my radar and those of us in this climate ..... it seemed like a wonderful card to create for DIVAS and my students next week. With six or seven students in my weekly morning class, I decided that would be way too much coloring in a two hour class ..... so "Spotlight Stamping" is a wonderful option when time is critical in our creative lives.  I used my Spectrum Aqua Pens to color along with a water pen to move some of the colors in the flowers.  Love these pens!!  I used 100 lb. Solar White card stock but did not spritz the paper with water first - not using that much color.  BUT, knowing I was using some water, I used VersaFine black Pigment Ink by Tsukineko as my ink of choice for the stamps.  Memento Ink (my choice when coloring with Copics) would have run in this case.  I used my favorite Die by Mama Elephant (Clearly Creative Cuts) and ran it through my Big Shot machine twice (the two different colors).  The bow is made with Paper Rope by Recollections.  I used Glossy Accents (in dots) to secure it to the card.  I used one of my circle dies to cut the Spotlight.  I chose not to do a double circle as one might do in some Spotlights.

And here is a close up of the spot light image..

You can find this stamp set and many others on the Flowers & Garden link on Two Paper Divas website.  You must see the latest and greatest releases from TWO PAPER DIVAS along with the past great standbys for your stamping creations.

Please come back soon.  I hope to be able to start posting a number of the cards my classes are creating with my help!!
