TWO PAPER DIVAS Design Team Card - Little House with Sun Die

Sneak peek at a new stamp (the House) from a darling set due to be released any day from TWO PAPER DIVAS.  Love, love, love this House set and cannot wait to use each of them on more cards. The landscape and sun dies I have had a number of years and thought it was a perfect timing to drag both of them out.  But, I cannot take total credit on this one because I have seen something similar somewhere on the net.

I will be back to finish this write up.  But, I need to get back to prepping for my Tuesday classes coming up.  I have been ill for a week and I need to finish.  BYE!!

Hi, yes I am back.  Did not realize that I needed to revisit so many of my cards and bring them up-to-date.  Okay .....

Love this tree and slope die very much and love to use it.  Because of adding the House to the card, one of the trees had to be cut off but can you find where I added the tree?  The sun is another die that is actually kinda cute in this concept.  But first and foremost are the TWO PAPER DIVAS stamps:

• Bee Happy (Bee and the Sentiment)

I love cloud dies and do you notice that I placed one of the clouds upside down for a different shape!!

TWO PAPER DIVAS Design Team Card - Christmas TAG Card

Greetings ....... No it is not December but it is CHRISTMAS IN JULY for TWO PAPER DIVAS and
                         their newest Christmas release!

How many times have any of you started a card and the "final" card in no way resembles what you started with???  It does not happen that often with me but this one was a "classic example".  I should have taken a picture of where I started from and ended on that route ........

SUPPLIES:

Stamp:  TWO PAPER DIVAS Sentiment "Peace and Joy"
Paper:  Bazzill - Peppermint, StampinUp - Brushed Silver (Card Base), Ellen Hutson - Desert Storm               (Tag) and Silver polka dot Vellum (12 x 12 sheets of Designer Vellum - no clue where)
Embellishments:  Red and White Twin, Gina K Designs - Silver Sparkle Ribbon and Crystal Stones
                             White Embossing Powder, Versamark, Martha Stewart Glitter Glue Tubes and                                       1/8" scor-tape

TWO PAPER DIVAS Design Team Card - Thank You Card using Crayon Colors

What a blast I had making this card today ..... a lot of elements!!!  First I used the background Embossing folder which looks like strings of circles in a vertical placement.  Then using six different colors of the collection of Martha Stewart Glitter Glues I dotted the surface in various circles.  While I let the dots dry, I used the large Balloon Die from the Avery Elle set and I cut this balloon out of Bazzill Vellum.  The I cut with my cutter a horizontal piece of Vellum as well.

Three stamps from my collection of TWO PAPER DIVAS stamps were then embossed using Versamark and Aqua Zing Embossing Powder - then heated with my heat gun.

• TPD  single stamp - Life is about using the whole box of Crayons

My last elements of embellishments were the enamel "Sprinkles" and the Doodle Twine (from Doodlebug) which I stiffened slightly using Ranger Multi Medium Matte finish (using my fingers).

My white card stock is Solar White.

Greetings to my fellow TWO PAPER DIVAS!!  I finally took a moment this morning to check out what each of you have been doing through your BLOGS!!  WOW .... some very creative juices have been flowing on your home fronts.  I enjoy being a part of your creativity as a DIVA!!!  Way to go ladies.  

CRUISE IN OCTOBER OF 2014

This was the most awesome trip that I took with our Daughter and her two Daughters, my Granddaughters!!  We were so much in the middle of planning the Cruise this time last year and are all so ready to do something together (us Girls) again.  The larger Cruise Ship in the background was ours.......Norwegian Getaway!!  Wonderful NEW ship!!!  A Hurricane kept us from going on our "appointed" destination of St. Thomas, et al but we went to Jamaica and this picture was taken in Cozumel.  We really could have cared less about the change ...... we were together and that was what this trip was all about.  Thanks so much to my traveling companions for such an awesome trip.

TWO PAPER DIVAS DESIGN TEAM CARD - Sweetest Day Birthday Card

Well lots of Kudos to me for getting a card by myself again onto my BLOG.  Even my Watermark is on it .... can you see that!!??  I am exhausted!!!  HA!!!

STAMPS USED:  Two Paper Divas - Seed Packet Fruit and Birthday Greetings
DIE:     Spellbinders Nestabilities - Labels Twenty-Five
CARD STOCK:  Neenah Solar White and Jelly Bean Green from Gina K Designs
COPIC MARKERS:  G21, G82, YG25, BV17
PUNCHES:  EK Scallop and EK Round 1-1/4"
RIBBON: GINA K DESIGNS
INK:  Memento Tuxedo Black and VersaFine Onyx Black (for the Sentiment)
SCOR TAPE
SEQUINS: Green

Everything is pretty obvious how the card was put together except that I Die cut the Green card stock and one Solar White piece.  I stamped the Black Berry branch on the green first and then punched the circle out.  I positioned the green over the white and drew some pencil lines to know where to place the stamp for stamping on the white piece.  Once the white piece was colored, I then popped up the green on the white and then using scor tape I attached these pieces to the white scalloped piece.  This is another "Spotlight Technique".  It is different from the previous card which I posted with the flowers in the wheelbarrow.

WONDERFUL DAY ..... for my figuring out my computer system again.  Whew!!
